Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino , commonly known as Raphael, was born in the year 1483. He was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. During our class we introduced our students to the life and times of Raphael and focussed our study on his painting, Saint George Struggling with the Dragon.
Our students got creative with their own dragons and added fire using straws to blow the paint across the page. Everyone had a lot fun making them and loved how they turned out!
