American artist, Dina Wakley inspired our art project this week. Dina is an art journaler and mixed-media artist who teaches her techniques all over the world. She lives in Arizona with her husband and three boys. She is the author of Art Journal Freedom: How to Journal Creatively with Color and Composition.
Our students really enjoyed the different multi-media techniques that we used to make our Valentine’s Day inspired journal pages. We used spray inks and stencils and made our own collage paper to add to our pieces.
