How are you feeling today? With all the changes “facing” everyone right now, people have been feeling a lot of different things on any given day… Let’s recreate some of these emotions in fun emojis.
Materials needed
- yellow watercolour paint (if you don’t have this – a yellow highlighter or yellow marker will work)
- assorted markers in different colours – I used red and black – but you could use any colours.
- tiny paintbrush and white paint – but if you have some liquid paper this would work as well.
Begin by putting some drops of yellow watercolour on the page, and then using a watercolour paintbrush swirl the colour around to make circles. If you are using yellow markers for this, simply draw in a few circles in different sizes (you can use a circle template if you want – or trace around a lid or a cup).
Once the watercolour has dried, I used sharpies to draw in my emoji faces. There are so many different emojis you can draw – You can even make up a few new ones! As the very last touch, I used a tiny detail brush and some white paint and added a few highlights to the eyes and teeth.
I really hope you have some fun creating some new emojis. Please send a picture to artinactiontoronto@gmail.com. Also, follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you!
