We jumped into a time machine and travelled back in time to the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty ruled China from 1368 to 1644 and it was during this time in history that the beautiful porcelain vases were created.
Students began by drawing their vases and then used oil pastels, chalk pastels and acrylic paint to create their pieces. They also learned an interesting technique to create the pattern on their vases.
They did such an amazing job!
