Description
Begin each morning armed with sketchbooks, pencils, hiking shoes, water bottles and hats, students will spend the morning “En Plein Air” (in the open air) with Art in Action. Students will travel in Mrs. Fritzlar’s “Art Touring Van” to each destination and begin sketching and exploring the great outdoors in our inspiring city, Toronto.
After a picnic lunch (weather permitting) students will return to the in-house art studio to spend hot afternoons working in the cool indoors to create their own great works of art. Students will have the tactile experience of experimenting with a variety of art materials and techniques including watercolours, acrylics, collage materials, oil pastels, chalk pastels and more.
Open to children 7-12 years old (or going into grade 2 in the fall – & going into grade 7) at Mrs. Fritzlar’s home – 219 Humbercrest Blvd. All students must be aware that Hugo the family doodle will want to be creating along with us (he’s not allowed to though!) so you must not be afraid of dogs!
Space is limited to 4 students per week. The cost is $399.00 per week. 9 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday
