Exploring Shapes and Colours

Here is a super simple way to explore shapes and colours. What you need:

• Watercolour paper
• Masking tape
• Chalk pastels
• Paper towel

Use the tape to create a frame around the paper. Next, use the tape to create different shapes on the paper (I used a narrow and regular width tape). Chalk pastels were used to colour in the shapes and lastly, paper towel was used to smudge the pastel and smooth out the colours. So many possibilities!
