Description:

Join Mrs. Fritzlar and spend a week creating many different animals from the smallest to the largest, from the oldest to creative, imaginative made-up creatures.
Summer art camp offers students step-by-step art-making classes throughout the day, as well as free drawing and painting opportunities. Games, puzzles, and other fun activities will also be offered throughout the week.
Each day, students will travel in Mrs. Fritzlar’s “Art Touring Van” to a different destination, some outdoor playtime, splash pads, and waiting pools on those hot, hot days and fun games at nearby parks. Afternoons will be spent back at the art studio, working in the cool indoors to create more incredible works of art.
Students will have the tactile experience of experimenting with various art materials, including polymer clay, watercolours, acrylics, collage materials, oil pastels, chalk pastels, and more, and experimenting with many new art techniques.
Summer art camp is open to children 7-12 years old (or going into grade 2 in the fall and grade 7) at Mrs. Fritzlar’s home, 219 Humbercrest Blvd. All students must be aware that Hugo, the family doodle, will want to be creating along with us (he’s not allowed to, though!), so you must not be afraid of dogs!
