Let’s begin our creation today with an oil pastel resist and some liquid watercolours and create some vibrant jellyfish.
Supplies:
- watercolour paper
- oil pastels
- watercolour brush
- salt
- liquid watercolours
Start by drawing a simple jellyfish shape. You can’t really see it in this picture but I also used a white oil pastel. Next, paint the paper with your watercolour. While its damp (not soaking wet) sprinkle some table salt. I used both fine salt and kosher salt to give the illusion of bubbles.
Let it dry completely…
