It’s almost time to go back to school! During these unprecedented times, the return to school this year is a very challenging time for parents, students, and teachers. We have come up with creative ideas on how our program can still benefit students and your school. Over the summer we developed online live classes where students can participate along with the teacher, interact, and are able to ask questions throughout the art-making process.
Let’s begin the year together learning and being inspired by famous Canadian artists Norval Morrisseau, Mary Pratt, Rita Letendre and the famous Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh. Join Art in Action to learn how to create a sunset cityscape, iconic loons on a lake, beautiful ripe cherries in a bowl and a mesmerizing vibrant abstract creation.
Students will be able to watch and follow along with a teacher, ask questions and interact! Click for more information.
Participating in art-making can have a very positive effect on mental health and the tactile experience of working with art materials is a great way for students to engage in kinesthetic activities. We are offering virtual classes to schools (one free class per school). Would you like Art in Action to create with your school? Email us at artinactiontoronto@gmail.com for more information.
