We are having so much fun with our Spring session at Lambton-Kingsway Junior Middle School on the West side of Toronto. To celebrate the season in our art class we were inspired by Beatrix Potter and created our very own Peter Rabbit.
Students learned about the life and career of the author and illustrator of so many well loved books. In her 30’s Beatrix Potter self published The Tale of Peter Rabbit and went on to write over 30 books.
Students used many techniques and learned new ways to create brush strokes to create their own fluffy rabbits.
We can’t wait to create the rest of our projects with the sold out class!
