Autumn Art Lessons

Oct 28, 2020

Autumn is in full swing!  Art in Action has been busy getting ready for brand new Autumn Art Lessons.

Feeling inspired to create? In our next Autumn Art lessons, students will learn about famous artists and create their own great works of art.  There’s one to do each week – take a look…

Week 1 – In honour of Remembrance Day, create a poignant Remembrance Day Poppy inspired by American modernist painter, Georgia O’Keeffe.

Week Two – Create a picturesque Autumn landscape inspired by one of Canada’s most famous artists, Tom Thomson.

Week Three – Have some fun in rainy day weather with a surrealist painting, inspired by the famous artist, René Magritte.

Week Four – Get ready for winter and create a serene winter landscape inspired by Canadian artist, Erica Hawkes. You can almost hear the quiet stillness in this beautiful piece.

Fill your house with new Autumn-inspired paintings handmade by your own resident artist.  Each lesson includes a live class with the teacher either Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday – all a different time, so you can choose what works best for you! Or, you can have access to a recorded class if those times don’t work for you.

Students will be able to watch and follow along with a teacher, ask questions and interact

Here’s how Art in Action online classes work:

  • Art in Action delivers the art materials to your home
  • Students create along with a teacher live online
  • Students can ask questions and interact!
