A dark winter night inspired our winter landscapes while he was tinkling about blue light and sleep. We spent the first part of our session learning about the American artist, Stephen Quiller. We used black paper and chalk pastels to really set the scene. Next we learned how to use fan brushes to create our snow covered trees and lastly dipped our brushes in water and used a splattering technique to create the snow.
