Picasso Owl Prints

Mar 3, 2013

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

– Pablo Picasso

For this Picasso project we explored printmaking. During his career, Picasso explored many forms of printmaking including: engraving, etching, drypoint, aquatint, and linocut.

We used foam to carve out our own Picasso Owl’s and made our prints on encycolpedia pages. The students then added additional details with oil pastels.
