We are very happy to announce that we are expanding to two new schools!

Art in Action is very excited to bring our art enrichment program to: Lambton Kingsway Junior Middle School and Kingsway College School.

September always brings a sense of excitement and we can’t wait to meet the students and administration at all of our schools, including Humbercrest Public School and Swansea Public School and get started on our brand new projects!

Our fall program will be entirely focussed on Canadian Artists. We will be learning about the life and career of:

Join us to explore: watercolours, acrylics, collage materials, oil pastels and resist techniques.

Registration begins soon! Please watch for information about how to sign up coming home from school. If you have any questions or require any other information, please contact us @ artinactiontoronto@gmail.com

Summer Fun

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

– Maya Angelou

I hope you are having a wonderful summer…I know I am. My family and I have been busy with a bit of travel, some time at a cottage and visiting friends. We have been able to do a few art projects too. Take a look at the redesigned water jugs we made for our fall art classes:

We use recycled yogurt containers as our water jugs to wash our brushes as we paint. I like the new, bright colours!

My children were inspired to make their own abstract art gallery on a boring white door….

And of course we have been busy creating new projects for our fall session. Stay tuned to hear more about our spotlight on Canadian Artists!
